I was a cheerleader for 6, almost 7 years and I could never do a split, a heel stretch, or a bow and arrow. It’s crazy how easily these things come to me in my yoga practice now, after practicing for much less time than I was a cheerleader, and after taking years off and losing all flexibility. In yoga we call this standing compass pose, in cheerleading it’s a bow and arrow. Either way, I’m proud as hell of myself for being able to do it. My 6th grade goal has been accomplished ☺️ #practicemakesprogress
